Registration to the Newsletter: Information on processing of Personal Data



The Newsletter of the Santa Lucia Foundation (hereinafter "Foundation") is distributed via email free of charge to those who request to receive it by entering the data requested in the online form (available on the Homepage).

The Santa Lucia Foundation, with registered office in Via Ardeatina n. 306, 00179 Rome, in quality of the Data Controller (hereinafter also "Owner" or "Foundation"), will process your Personal Data falling within the definition of art. 4.1 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “Regulation”), in this case email and optionally name and surname, for the following purpose:

  • sending of newsletters with information on the Foundation and its activities.

The data provided will be used with computerized or telematic tools for the sole purpose of providing the service requested and, for this reason, will be kept exclusively for the period in which the service will be active.

The legal basis for this treatment is your consent, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) of the Regulation. It is an optional consent, in the absence of which the treatment will not be implemented with no consequence for you.

The data will be processed exclusively by the staff and collaborators of the Foundation or by subjects acting as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 of the Regulation (eg the provider of the web platform for sending the Newsletter and the website operator). The updated and complete list of the data processors is available upon request by writing to the Owner at the addresses below.

The data collected for the Newsletter service will be kept until the subscriber has exercised his right to revoke the express consent.

The subscriber has the right to ask the Data Controller, at any time, for access to data, rectification or cancellation of the same or to request the limitation of the processing, or to obtain in a structured format, commonly used and readable by automatic devices, the data concerning him in the foreseen cases (Art. 20 of the Regulation). Furthermore, the subscriber has the right to revoke the consent given in each moment pursuant to Art. 7 of the Regulation and to oppose the data processing, for legitimate reasons, pursuant to Art. 21 of the Regulation.

Requests should be sent to the Owner, writing to Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS, Via Ardeatina 306, 00179 Rome or to the email or to the for Data Protection Officer (DPO) by email

In any case, the subscriber always has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent control authority (Data Protection Authority), pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if he considers that the data processing is contrary to the law.
